Saint Joseph’s the Worker church closed in 2015, and work continues on the new development.

The over 55 community will have approximately 75 homes on New Falls Road in Levittown. A sales manager for the up and coming St. Joseph’s Court said settlements will be made in 2018 and could go to 2019 depending on construction.

McGrath Homes announced the opening in June with nearly one-third of the community sold. McGrath Homes has built 55+ communities in Doylestown and Newtown.

The homes will have a kitchen equipt with stainless appliances, granite countertops with a center island, as well as gas heat and cooking. The homes will have barely any exterior maintenance.

St. Joseph’s Court will have a private clubhouse for residents to enjoy a gathering room, fitness center, sports lounge, card/game room and an outdoor patio.

The church, Saint Joseph’s the Worker, was founded in 1956. The Levittown location was one of five parishes in lower Bucks to merge into new churches. The 2014 decision combined St. Joseph’s with St. Frances Cabrini Parish in Fairless Hills.

St. Joseph’s Court, carried the name and will have homes ranging from 1700 to 2000 sq. feet and start in the upper $200,000s.
